UST is founding member of the Off-Grid Water Alliance

January 2022

The alliance is aiming to generate synergies for two of the 17 sustainable development goals, defined by the United Nations: Access to hygienic drinking water and clean and affordable energy.

UST presented its latest solutions at the OFF-GRID Expo in Augsburg

December 2021

The compact ULTRA V16, equipped with photovoltaic, supplies a small water pump and a 16W-UV-system to provide hygiene drinking water almost anywhere. Also a ULTRA V41/O3 was exhibited operating with 24VDC, compatible with solar energy.

UST is expanding to Senegal.

November 2021

Installation of a complete water treatment system for the purification of rainwater

August & September 2020

A complete water treatment system for the purification of rainwater (2 x 200m³), consisting of coarse and fine filters as well as 2 ULTRA V150/ O3, was installed in a shopping mall. Through the treatment, the water can now be fed into the cooling circuit.

Installation of 2 newly developed units of the type ULTRA V240/ MTS

July 2020

Each of these systems is equipped with 2 immersion heaters of 120W each. This sterilises a small, 10m³ cooling circuit. The immersion lamps enable precise UV output in the water storage tanks. In order to withstand the water currents in the storage tank, a frame was attached to stabilise the lamps.

Commissioning of a further developed ULTRA V150/ O3

June 2020

The system is optimised for increased ozone production and has since made it possible to disinfect a 50m³ cooling circuit without biocide.

Delivery of the first ULTRA V/O3 with increased ozone output

March 2020

UST has further developed the system, which uses both UV and ozone for disinfection. A new 150W lamp made with high purity quartz glass increases ozone generation by over 50%. For this special application, the routing of the ozone-water mixture was changed so that it could still act in the further course of the cooling water pipe.
